Directions from Ljubljana airport to Glavani 4.
Turn left out of the airport and after a short distance turn left towards Ljubljana and the A2 motorway. Take the A2 south, following signs for Koper until you join the A1 signposted west for Postojna caves, Koper and Trieste . At the junction with the A3 for Trieste , continue left past the Skocjanske caves and then you will start to see signs for Pula and you follow these from then on, crossing the border into Croatia at Kastel-Dragonija. Once in Croatia , continue following Pula signs and you will join the main motorway for Pula after a few kilometres. Keep on the motorway (following Pula signs) until very close to the end.
Take the Vodnjan exit, some 12 kms or so before Pula . Once off the motorway you will come to a T-Junction, turn right for Vodnjan and within 200 metres take the right (which is actually straight on) fork for Vodnjan centre. Follow this road straight up until you cross over the railway line. Once you have crossed the railway line, take a right turn signed for Barban. Glavani is about 10 kilometres along this road. Once you see the yellow Glavani village sign, 100 metres further on, on the left hand side of the road there is a small “Istra Zivot" sign. The road on the right (turn right!) is to go to our place which is about 150 yards down there on the left. You will see a white building and a white gravel drive on the left. Just park in the drive and our stone-clad office is in front of you.

Directions from Trieste airport to Glavani 4.
Follow signs for the A4 Autostrada to Trieste . Continue along the A4 to the end (around Trieste ) following signs for Koper/Capodistra and the border crossing with Slovenia
at Rabuiese-Skofije (Road Number SS15). It gets a little convoluted around Trieste so keep a careful eye out for signs for any of these.
Once across the border in Slovenia , you will start to see signs for Pula and you follow these from then on, crossing the border into Croatia at Kastel-Dragonija. Directions from Krk (Rijeka) airport to Glavani 4.
When you exit from the airport, you have to turn right in the direction of Rijeka . Drive approx. 2km until you get on the bridge. After bridge drive for 1 km until crossroads and then turn to Rijeka . Pass Kraljevica, Bakarac, Bakar. At the first traffic lights turn right in the direction of ZAGREB-ÈAVLE-INDUSTRIJSKA ZONA, SLO,I,A). At the second traffic lights drive straight (ZAGREB-RIJEKA-ÈAVLE-INDUSTRIJSKA ZONA, SLO,I,A).
Pass the big shopping centre METRO on the left. At the next traffic lights follow the signs to LJUBLJANA , RIJEKA , ÈAVLE, SLO,I,A. and drive straight. Do not follow signs to Zagreb anymore. Next traffic lights, left (same signs) and you are on the highway again. This is the highway in the direction of LJUBLJANA ,TRST, PULA . After 4 km you will pass through a tunnel and over the Rjeèina river (on the left you will see Trsat castle). After second gallery you will see Rijeka on the left (skyscrapers, harbour). Pass all the signs for turning to Rijeka and just follow signs to Pula . Do not exit on the Rijeka centre or Rijeka zapad and Kastav. Just proceed in the direction of Pula and you will come to the Ucka tunnel.
Go through the tunnel (this costs about 28 kuna) and continue down the motorway towards Pula until near to the end.

Directions from Zagreb airport to Glavani 4.
Leaving Zagreb Airport on the south eastern corner of Zagreb , head north west up to the A4 motorway westbound. Join for a few miles and then take the A1 signposted for Karlovac. Stay on this motorway all the way following the signs for Rijeka (It becomes the A6 sometime after Karlovac). Around Rijeka you will start to see signs for Pula . Stick with these!
Just proceed in the direction of Pula and you will come to the Ucka tunnel.

Directions from Pula Airport
to Glavani 4
This should take
approximately 20-25 minutes.
Turn left out of the airport on to the road. After a few hundred
metres turn right on to the main road from Pula to Labin and Rijeka.
Continue on this road for a little less than 20 kilometres or so,
passing through the villages of Loborika, Marcana and Prodol. After
the Prodol junction (which has the “Turist” restaurant on the right
and the Luna restaurant on the left), keeping on the main road,
continue up the hill until you see a sign for a left turn to
Manjadvorci and Glavani. Turn left here just before the actual
signpost (down a short incline) and continue now on this small road
through the village of Manjadvorci, past the riding centre on your
left. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometres until you come to
the village of Glavani. Keep to the right at the small three way
junction and in another 200 metres you will come to a T-junction
signed for Barban (right) and Vodnjan (left). Turn left towards
Vodnjan and then turn the second left where you see our small,
yellow Istra Zivot sign in the garden on your right hand side. Our
office is about 150 metres down this street. You will see a white
building on the left and a stone house facing you. Turn into the
gravel drive and the office is directly in front of you.
